Some of our members got a special assignmen from A.Ed about "November, 15" which we could see many graffiti mentioned about them along the Moganshan Road. We had dug into the details and found out one of interesting story. We are willing to post it here to share with you.
At the beginning, we had tried to ask people around this district. It was surprising that none of them knew about the meaning behind this date as most of them claimed that they were from other cities or districts. As we are entreprenuer, we didn't give up so easily. We used every possible method we had on hand. We did research by observating the area, using google and etc. Finally, we could extract the information and see the meaning behind it.
On November 15, 2010. There was a fire accident on one apartment in Shanghai. It got attention of people because the building was in the city area and also it was one of the very big apartments in Shanghai. This fire accident killed around 58 people and injured around 70 people. Some of dead people died from jumping out of the building to escape fire. It was one of shocking news in China and it also stimulated Chinese's government to turn their attention on the safely procudure and laws about high buildings as they couldn't avoid responsibility from this accident. After this accident, laws and practice regarding people's safety are excercised much more strictly than it used to be.
